2022 is the 35th anniversary of FORCE Cancer Charity and we hope to make our return after the pandemic the biggest yet!!

At FORCE Cancer Charity we believe that anyone diagnosed with cancer deserves the best possible treatment and professional, face-to-face support close to home. Since 1987 we have been funding local research and buying equipment to improve patient care. In 2004 we opened our Cancer Support and Information Centre in the grounds of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

We offer counselling, group sessions, complementary therapies, benefits advice, specialist physiotherapy and exercise guidance and other health and wellbeing support. Our services are available to cancer patients and their families.

The FORCE Cancer Support and Information Centre is on the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital’s Wonford site. It’s open Monday to Friday, except Bank Holidays, between 9:30am and 4:30pm. When possible, we offer weekly support and information in Okehampton and Ottery St Mary.

We also fund local research and buy equipment to improve patient care and pay for a specialist nurse to deliver chemotherapy in our outreach locations.

We are an independent charity. The majority of our work is funded by local donations, fundraising, grants, legacies and our award winning shop.
